Emergence Floor

In keeping with Future Wife's recent experiments with interactive cellular automata and feedback systems, Emergence Floor brings a new iteration of the intersection of digital life-simulating systems and organic interaction. The piece consists of a 35' x 27' LED video floor with built-in distance sensors, which allows any part of the bodies above that come into contact with the floor to influence the feedback systems being simulated under them.
